Lynn & Ike: Wedding

We came together by chance. It was a Saturday in July and Lynn & Ike were taking a tour of the Stonehedge Inn and deciding if that was where they wanted to hold their wedding ceremony and reception. I was getting ready to shoot a different wedding and we started talking. That talk lead to an email, which lead to a phone call, which lead us all back to the Stonehedge Inn for their wedding day!

Lynn and Ike each have a son and now the boys will have a brother to grow up with. Growing up with brothers myself, I know how important that can be! It was a touching day that had everyone shedding tears of joy and toasting the wonderful bond between two sweet people.

Good mid-week diversion!

Sometimes you just need a good little time waster! This was originally made as a viral marketing campaign for Monoface, but it's difficult to pass up the chance to play virtual Mr. Potato Head with all their employees! You can change the eyes, hair, nose and mouth...and you can click all day because there are 759,375 possible faces. And it's also fun to find all the pieces to the same person to reveal their true identity!

Plus as a photographer and graphic designer, I can truly appreciate the simplicity and crispness of the final product!

Stephanie & Daniel: Wedding

You'll remember Stephanie and Dan from that great engagement session we did up in Portsmouth back in June. They have such a great energy that seems to rub off on everyone around them.

Their wedding ceremony took place inside the Merrimack College Chapel, while the skies outside opened-up and the priest declared the thunder was God's applause for their union. The ceremony ended and right on cue the skies began to clear. So we headed over to the historic iron bridge that spans the pond in the middle of campus and captured some wonderful shots.

The reception was held at the beautiful Zorvino Vineyard in Sandown, NH. As you can see, we had a great time playing between the rows & rows of the green vines and purple grapes. We all then headed up to the rustic post & beam manor house for dinner and dancing that lasted late into the night.

Free to Succeed Tour: Boston

This past Tuesday night I was lucky enough to join many of my photographer friends for the Free To Succeed Tour in downtown Boston. The three headliners on the tour just happened to be the three photographers that I admire most in the wedding industry...David Jay, Jasmine Star, and Becker. And I felt blessed to meet them all on the same night!

David Jay gave us insight as to how an efficient workflow can can help "free" up your life. Jasmine spoke about how determination and properly branding your business can lead to much success. And Becker gave us all a sneak preview of the [b]school...which will be a social and profesional networking website for photographers.
