I had such an amazing time shooting the wedding of Abbie and Allen at the Hellenic Center in Ipswich... which was planned by Linnea and her senior associate Megan!
Abbie and Allen are the most adorable couple and I couldn't help but smile every time they giggled with excitement at the fact that they were now husband and wife. They had an amazingly close-knit circle of friends and family that danced and partied the night away. I wish you both all the best and thank you for letting me be a a part of your big day!

Snowy is home!
It's a long story...so I'll try to make it short (and sweet).
Snowy was our neighbor's cat, but since she spent most of her day outdoors she would make her daily rounds and visit eveyone in the neighborhood. She was friendly, loved to be pet, and craved attention from all who would give it. She would often spend lazy summer afternoons napping on our shady front porch.
Last September, Snowy's owners decided to move and gave Snowy away to friends in a neighboring town (before Linnea and I could express our desire to adopt her). Sadly, just a week after she moved, we heard that Snowy had ran away from her new home. And unfortunately, her new owners did not care enough to spend time looking for her. So Linnea and I took it upon ourselves to search her new neighborhood and post signs on every telephone pole we could find. We did receive a few phone calls in October, but they all turned out not to be Snowy. The cold and snowy Winter came and we hoped that she had found a warm new home.
Fast forward 8 months....
Last week the phone rang. Someone had been regularly seeing a white cat in the woods behind their house and had been feeding her for a while. So yesterday she showed up again and Linnea and I went down to see if it was her. And it WAS! She had MIRACULOUSLY survived the winter and looked wonderful. Needless to say, we decided to adopt her and brought her home. She took right to her old stomping grounds and our front porch, like she had never left. I think you can see how happy she is from these photos. It's a great feeling to have her home.
P.S. She went to the vet today and passed all her tests with flying colors! :)
P.P.S. Linnea and I are big supporters of the Merrimac Feline Rescue Society. They are always in need of food, blankets, and donations! Here is their donation Wish List.

Stephanie & Dan: Engagement
I recently had the pleasure of spending a Sunday afternoon with Stephanie & Dan and their adorable dog Bodie. They are such an amazing and energetic couple, who are grad students at the University of New Hampshire.
We spent the afternoon walking through Portsmouth, NH...the small seaside town were Dan asked Stephanie to marry him. You can tell from the images that this was the perfect setting for them to relax and really show their love for each other. I'm so excited for their August wedding. The ceremony will be held at the Merrimack College Chapel and the reception at Zorvino Vineyards in Sandown, NH.

Brides.com Event
Linnea and I attended the Brides.com vendor event last night at the Artists for Humanity Center in Boston. Actually Linnea was the event planner for the whole soiree and she worked with Brides.com to create an AMAZING night. From the delicious food, to the martini bars, to the white lounge furniture and pink lighting, everything was spectacular. Plus I got to hang out with a few of my fun photographer friends and we had a great time! Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday evening!

On Saturday May 17th I had the honor of shooting the wedding of two incredible people on Newbury Street in Boston. Shelley is the beautiful of mother of two adorable boys, Max and Boston. Steve is a doctor who specializes in Emergency Room medicine and has a daughter of his own. These two have such love for each other and being there to witness them take their vows and become one amazing family was truly special!
